Was prompted to upgrade today. Like the Mac app, this has got worse.
My chief frustration has added steps in. Auto fill on websites require the pop up then the click to confirm, whereas 7 dropped...

3 years agoHey folks, thanks for your feedback.
@davidmh81:
We built 1Browser at a time when Safari extensions weren’t possible and it was the only way for 1Password to fill passwords. Now, iOS has an AutoFill Passwords feature and we have a new 1Password extension for Safari, making this the right time to retire 1Browser. This also means that 1Password 8 will not be rated 17+, a requirement that only existed because of 1Browser. Unless the landscape shifts significantly, adding 1Browser back doesn't make sense at this time.
@tnetennba:
Since most mobile devices now include fingerprint scanners or face-unlock options, we’ve revamped our security settings to enable you to unlock 1Password with your account password or biometrics. 1Password 8 showcases a modern, beautiful UI, and we wanted our unlock options to follow this trend and provide the most up-to-date unlock options. As for the ordering of Favorites on the home screen, while I can't promise anything, this is something we've heard, and hopefully we'll be able to make some improvements to this.
@quantumcosmic:
If 1Password 8 is enabled as the AutoFill app in iOS Settings > Passwords, you should be able to tap the Passwords text or have Logins suggested in the QuickType bar. If that isn't what you're seeing, we can definitely take a closer look.
@zemo:
We're continuing to iterate on search, more specifically substring search. We've made some changes available in 1Password 8 for desktop in the nightly releases, but those chances aren't in 1Password 8 for iOS and Android just yet.
@MattKb:
Are you referring to 1Password filling suggestions not showing immediately in the QuickType bar, and instead displaying "Passwords"?
