1password 8 is a step back
Was prompted to upgrade today. Like the Mac app, this has got worse.
My chief frustration has added steps in. Auto fill on websites require the pop up then the click to confirm, whereas 7 dropped...
I just can't use this new version. Too many workflows are obliterated - search is seemingly hard locked to searching from the beginning of a word, so grabbing my otp for one of the vpn connections i use for work now requires me to remember the whole name instead of just 'vpn'.
Accessing that otp is no longer 1 click, typing, and copying the code, it's clicking, typing the first letters of the name, opening an entirely new screen, copying the code when it eventually tells me how much time is left (why does this take 5 seconds to render?!) and then putting it where I need it.
Adding more steps to achieve things makes something worse, not better.
