7 months agoThank you for the screenshots. Since Touch ID and Apple Watch unlock are both turned off for 1Password it's normal that you wouldn't see the "Require password" setting. I see that your auto-lock setting is set for 5 minutes which means that you'll be prompted for your account password every time that you Mac is idle for at least that amount of time.
The checkboxes for Touch ID and Apple Watch unlock being greyed out can be caused by a variety of different reasons. As a first step try the following steps:
- Completely turn off your Mac and then turn it on to restart it. (Don't skip this step.)
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Touch ID & Password.
- Turn off all of the features, then turn all of them back on again.
- Go back to 1Password and choose 1Password > Settings from the menu bar.
- Click the Security icon, then turn on "Touch ID".
- Lock 1Password by choosing 1Password > Lock from the menu bar.
- Now try unlocking 1Password using Touch ID.
Does that allow you to turn on Touch ID unlock? If it doesn't then, so that I can advise further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
