1Password for Safari not communicating with the desktop app [FIXED]
Both the extension and the app are updated and at current versions.
Have tried various combinations of quitting browser + app, and toggling / untoggling the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" and "Connect with 1Password in the browser" settings in the extension / app, respectively.
Have toggled on and off the "Allow in the background" setting in System Settings->General
Still getting "Status: Problems connecting 🟠. Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked." 100% of the time when using the extension, and no option for TouchID
BEYOND frustrated at this point. I just want to use TouchID on my browser extension!

Hello Kevin, I appreciate your response. I realized that this issue isn't present in Chrome or Firefox. Sadly it is almost Safari. 1Password used to be a seamless solution, and it became crumble-some. Each year, I want to be hopeful that 1Password will be like in the good old days, but then something happens again. At the same time, Apple's built in keychain solution is getting better. I am sorry to say it, but it is hard to resist to just simply ditch 1Password.
Having a strange problem - when I try to input my credentials on a website where 1P is showing in the sign in box, 1P will not open - even though I already have 1P completely open - wants me to put in my password and does not give the finger print option (see first screen shot). The second screen shot shows the finger print option when I try to just open 1P, and in fact I can then open it.
However, I must copy and paste from the open 1P window into the login spaces for the particular website as it will not fill anything and indicates I need to login to 1P with my password - even though it is already open (again screen shot 1).
My only idea is maybe it has something to do with the fact I am in Greece?

In 1password settings I have AutoLock in 1password Settings set to NEVER.

Browser: SafariI have been having the same problem for several days. Today, the 1P desktop app on my Mac updated to version 8.10.44 (81044034), but the 1Password for Safari extension is version 2.27.1
Support replied back to my email and told me it’s a known issue and they’re working on fixing it. As a workaround, you can hit command / And it will auto fill without using the extension

Browser: Safari Version 17.6 (19618.3.11.11.5)Before the last extension update for Safari, the extension used to unlock automatically when I opened the browser. Now every time I open the browser, I must reenter my password manually to enable the extension. I've tried all the settings I see regarding the extension, reinstalled, 1password is updated, and I;ve rebooted. I can't seem to get the extension to automatically unlock itself when opening Safari.
