Face ID Not Working [Fixed. Please see the approved answer for details.]

Dave-1P is concerned, sorry I miss wrote that, what I meant to say is if he thought this was a critical issue we’d have a solution and update. He’s the top guy and can direct work.

I'm not sure the folks that post here from 1P are "not concerned", but they don't make the calls. They just tout the company line and the community is expected to accept the response (or lackof) that we get.

Hi there. Feel free to check out this thread that was started in August of LAST year. It seems our friends here don't have much incentive to fix things now that they have gone subscription.

Up until recently I was able to sign in to the app with my face. Since I changed my phone to 14 pro max that feature stopped working. Really annoying that I have to type my password every time I want to use the app

I replied back to him about this and a few others, turned out he is aware of this issue but from what I can see he’s not whole heartedly concerned.

Just read it as well. I couldn’t help laughing while I was reading it.

1P_Dave Might want to make sure your product works before you sing the praises of it.

Just read Dave's newsletter. He sings praises of versions 8, but leaves out any mention of the face id issue that has been dragging out for far too long.

Any news here? 1Password is just one password manager among many and easily replaceable...

Is there any update on the Face ID issue? Last post I saw was from Sept 2022, it’s now Jan 2023. Hoping this gets fixed soon!

1P_Ben Looks like the beta program is full. Hopefully that release will be globally available soon!
