More control over how dates are displayed in entries

When you add a date to an entry, it shows up in the "DD/MM/YYYY" format while you're editing it, but once you save and view the entry normally, the format switches to something like "DD/MM/YY" or even "D/MM/YY" if the day or month is a single digit. It would make a lot more sense if the format stayed consistent between editing and viewing—or at least gave us the option to choose how dates are displayed.

Also, there really should be a setting to pick whether you want dates to show as DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY for each date you add in any entry. Right now, the "Date Format" setting just lets you choose between full date and month/year formats, which I get might be useful, but I don’t think it matches what most people expect when they see “Date Format.” That option should stay, but there should also be a way to control how the date actually looks (like DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY) both when editing and viewing.
