New business account, existing family account. How to proceed?
Hi, I have been using 1Password for several years now, very happy with it. I am on a Family plan with my wife and two daughters. Now my employer decided to start a 1Password business account and I ...

Hi Mark,
As Tommy already indicated but to strongly emphasise - never put anything personal in your business vault (we also from our business indicate that). Like company mail, IT can manage your mail and by default that includes anything from that.
I'd suggest to indeed accept the invite, though be mindful of which data you store in your company personal (mostly called 'Employee') vault.
For the full process in a nutshell; accept the invite, set-up 1password as you are already familiar from your family account. Then (in your browser) go to 1password, login (as business) and choose the avatar/icon of your account right top. Go to 'My profile' and there should be a 'Redeem' button in the middle of the page.
That button will open a new window indicating you to log in to your other (== family) account (if on different clouds (i.e. family in .eu and business in .com) select the correct one from the dropdown somewhere on that page before trying to log in). In your family account you accept the 'connection' and that's about it.

Thanks to both, this worked fine.
I was afraid that from now on, I had to switch continually between the two accounts (personal and business) but luckily, 1Password allows the "All accounts" setting so it is transparent for me in which account the passwords are stored 👍🏼
