open a specific entry directly via hotkey/url/ other?
Hi all
i searched for this across the forums and google but have not found a solution to something that looks simple (to me at least :))
i have 2-4 entries i use quite often. i want to assign a shortcut that will open these entries for quick viewing them. Is that possible at all (maybe via a url or some other UUID way?)
thx so much

Thanks for confirming.
Although we cannot assign specific shortcut to directly open certain items, I want to offer a couple of workarounds to achieve what you are looking for:
A. You can set those items as Favorites, this way you can open the Favorites section and access the items quickly:
-B. You can give those items a unique title for searching. Then, you can utilize Quick Access to open them in detail. Here are the steps:
1. Use the default shortcut shift + cmd + space to open the Quick Access Window.
1. Search for the item.
1. If it is a login item, you can use shift-cmd-O to open the item in the app.
1. If it is another type of item other than a login item, you can hit the Enter key to "View Details".C. You can copy the private link of the item:

This way, you can save and open those private links from the browser bookmarks. You should see the following prompt the first time you open the private link:
-
- I'd recommend selecting the "Always" option and clicking on the Open 1Password.app. This way, your 1Password app will open the item details.Hope the above helps.

May I confirm your use case here:
Are you trying to "Open & Fill" certain login items in the browser quickly with shortcuts?
Are you trying to open the item details of certain items quickly in the 1Password app?
Can you elaborate on your case if it doesn't match the above?
