[Question/Feature Request] "Same as" password field

Hi,
I come from an organization where our usernames are managed by the organization but the passwords for the usernames are synchronized. What I'd really like is a "same as" password field so that i only have to sync one password item rather than 15 when i change my password...

My question really is, is there a way to do this now? and if so how?

  • Hello Squid! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! There isn't currently a "same as" password field feature in 1Password and I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have the team consider adding such a feature to 1Password in the future.

At the moment the best way to store these types of login credentials is to have a single login item with multiple website URLs or sections that store your various usernames. You can autofill the password and then copy and paste, or drag and drop, the username from the 1Password pop-up in the browser.

    I hope that helps.
