Require password if the host device required it
I'm pretty sure there isn't an option for it, in which case this is a feature request. I would like 1Password to require a password other than accept biometrics to unlock the first time it's opened ...

Thanks for the suggestion! While I can't say whether such a feature will be added to 1Password, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have the team look into this further for future updates. For the time being, you can set 1Password to immediately require your account password on your iPhone (instead of using biometrics) by following these steps:
- Open and unlock 1Password.
- Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings. (If you’re using an iPad, tap your account or collection at the top of the sidebar.)
- Tap Security.
- Tap Lock 1Password and pause biometrics.
Thanks for sharing how we can make 1Password more useful for you and your needs.

Thank you Dave for acknowledging the suggestion. I should note however that the feature I'm looking for is very specifically *not* to have to follow the steps you outline for pausing biometrics. The idea is that the pause of 1Password biometrics would be triggered by the pause of iOS biometrics, which, as I noted, can itself be triggered by a few inconspicuous button presses, without having to type or unlock the device.
