Hello hobbes444! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into trouble with 1Password for Safari. The "Connect to additional browsers" feature in the desktop app is for unsupported browsers that you'd like to use with 1Password. Safari is already a supported browser so you won't need to add it there.

When I click the 1password add-on in the safari browser, nothing happens, it does not open.

So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:

  1. Is 1Password not opening both when you clicking on the 1Password icon in a password field on a webpage and when you click on the icon in Safari's toolbar?
  2. Are you using multiple profiles in Safari?
  3. Are you using Lockdown mode on your Mac?
