I'm sorry to hear that 1Password is incorrectly enabling Secure Input on your Mac. You can disable Secure Input by completely closing 1Password:
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in the menubar.
- Click Quit.
- Re-open 1Password.
However I do understand that this isn't really a solution for the underlying problem and our developers are investigating this issue. Would you both mind sending in a diagnostics report in order to move our investigation forward? If you're able to send in a report then please follow these steps:
- Wait until the issue occurs again and note the time and date.
- Create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com
.
With your email please include:
- A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/134228/secure-input-enabled-problem
- Your forum username:
[USERNAME]
- The time and date when the issue occurred.
- Please do not post your diagnostic report to the forum. This is for your privacy and security.
The report will be in zip format. Please send the entire file.
