Windows on Arm doesn't detect updates
Hello,
I'm on version 8.11.16 (81116035) of 1Password using the Windows on Arm version, and the "Check for Updates" button does not detect any newer versions (looks like latest version is 8.11.20), it only shows "You're up to date!". Could this be a bug? Or maybe a purposefully withheld release for the Windows on Arm version (I've noticed in the past the Windows on Arm version usually gets updates a few days later than x86 versions, but this seems to be beyond that)?
Thanks,
Adam

Hi both,
I know this thread is a little older, but I wanted to share some clarification in case it helps you or anyone else who comes across it.
1Password for Windows now uses an MSIX installer, which includes native support for Windows on ARM. The older EXE installers, including the ARM-specific version, were deprecated in November 2025. The standard EXE version was automatically migrated to the MSIX build, but the ARM-specific EXE installer was not, so 8.11.16 is the final version available for that installer type.
To receive newer releases, you can uninstall your current EXE version and then install the latest MSIX version instead, either from our website or via the Microsoft Store. Once you’re on the MSIX build, updates should work as expected.
If you have any questions or run into any issues, let me know!

Same here. Found that my app was still on 8.11.16 and would not find a newer release. I have now uninstalled the app and reinstalled it via Microsoft Store. I hope that this will make sure that new updates get installed as expected. My browser extension in Edge was up-to-date, btw.
