Why doesn't 1password auto-generate a new password?

For example, going to the change password page of any site, I can press CMD-\ to auto-fill the old password, but then I have to go up to the extension in Chrome, click Password Generator, click copy, paste it twice into the New Password and Confirm Password fields. Is there a faster way of doing this?

    Welcome to the forum, @spencerhahn! There isn't. Password change pages are all different, just the same way Login pages have some broad similarities but are often different in the details. You shouldn't have to be copy/pasting, however -- you should be able to click "fill." For reference, here is the recommended way to change passwords at a given site. Are these the steps you've been following?
