Application Name (ditch the 7!)
I would assume that the devs know that "1Password 7" can be the name of the app in the store, but when it installs it can just be 1Password. I would go even further to say the actual bundle (package) can be called 1Password 7 under the covers but display simply 1Password just fine as well (you can have two apps with the same name this way...)

@instanttim - indeed, such under-the-hood chicanery could be done. The problem with that is that, up to version 7, we ran a parallel-track sort of setup: 1Password when downloaded from the Mac App Store would be listed as just
1Password
, while 1Password downloaded/installed directly from our website would come with the version number included (1Password 5
,1Password 6
, etc). That was done in the past partly as a way to differentiate it for users themselves ("does your version of 1Password say only 1Password, or does it say 1Password 6?"), and it's also done today, partly, because we've had to create a separate SKU for the new version in the Mac App Store, since Apple provides developers no way other than in-app purchases to charge for full-version upgrades.0 -
Pretty sure the name of the item in the store, and the package.app don’t need to match...
On iOS for instance the name in the store is “1Password — Password Manager” which is done as a legacy SEO technique. App Store has a “tagline” that should actually be used for that.
