Feature request: Rename attached documents?

Hey! 1Password team. This is yet another feature request asking for such default functionality as renaming attached documents. Could you please consider providing an easier solution to renaming documents in 1Password.

No, downloading documents to rename them is not a workaround it is the same as telling us to name documents ultimately so we don't need to rename it.

Here is the list of all feature requests only on your forum, ignoring Reddit or Gits:

This reminds me of Atlassian team with their SVG support feature request still kicking from 2004 and finally being tackled in late 2023. If you can't make it due to technical limitation, could you at least state it, because otherwise it looks like you selectively ignore user feedback for many years.

    Thanks for sharing this feedback @PingLoss2 I've gotten it before the team for consideration. I'm not sure when/if something like this might be possible but I can certainly advocate for your position.

    +1 for this feature request.

    Currently its super annoying to download the file, rename, upload again.

    E.g. when I use the 1PW build-in document scan function in iOS the document is automatically named as „scanned_document_xxxc“ and no possibility for easy renaming.

    So please implement a general function for easy renaming attached files.
