I'm still unable to reproduce the issue on my end. Can you try the following:
- Fully close Safari on iOS.
- Fully close 1Password on iOS.
- Open and unlock the main 1Password app from your home screen.
- Open Safari and go to any webpage.
- Tap on the page settings icon in the address bar (see below)
- Tap on 1Password in the menu.
- Follow the prompt to unlock 1Password for Safari.
The page settings icon looks like this:
Let me know if you still see the issue once you've done this.

Hi again,
I just wanted to let you know that the message keeps coming up. I feel this is intrusive advertising from your side. Almost every time I open Safari browser or a new tab the message pops up.
And please notice the difference between the two pop up messages. - LuisDelaNew Contributor

Hi,
As I said before this appears to be totally random. Example I open a new tab end the message appears or I simply launch Safari and same.
Im running ios 18 on an iphone xr To answer your questions, yes and yes.
Also find attached the version od 1password im currently running.
Thank you. - 1P_Dave

Thanks for the reply. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue on my end. A diagnostics report from 1Password on your iPhone will tell me more about what's happening and why 1Password for Safari is randomly opening that web page on your device.
Alternatively, and I know that you said that the message appears randomly, if you can provide any more specific reproduction steps that could help me to reproduce the issue then that would help as well. In addition can you tell me the following:
- What version of 1Password are you using: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
- Are you able to open and unlock the 1Password app from your home screen?
- Are you able to open and unlock 1Password for Safari from address bar by navigating to a webpage, tapping on the following icon, and then tapping 1Password:
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Dave,
Diagnostics of my iphone? Im getting the random welcome messages from your company in my browser. I think you should investigate this with apple cause it started with me updating to ios to 18. I suggest you reproduce the issue on one of you company phones and solve the problem that way.
Many thanks.
