Difference between 1Pwd for Mac family license and IOS 1Pwd Purchased from Apple store

I am trying to understand the difference between purchasing 1Pwd V4 for Mac Family license from 1 Pwd as opposed to purchasing 1Pwd from the APPLE store for IOS? Each family member has an Iphone 5, an Ipad and a workstation or laptop. That's 3 devices a piece. I can an upgrade discount from 1Pwd however, 1PWD for IOS is not included in this upgrade.

I am not connecting the dots here and need to understand before I make the next purchase.

    Hey @donmiguel,

    1Password 4 for Mac and 1Password 4 for iOS are separate apps. Apple doesn't provide any way for developers to sell a Mac and iOS app together.

    The 1Password 4 for Mac family license from the AgileBits web store will work for up to five users in your family (but remember it's a Mac license, so will only work on Mac). 1Password 4 for Mac is also available on the Mac App Store, and it will work on any computers tied to the purchaser's Apple ID.

    The app for iOS is only sold through from the App Store. It will work on any iPhones or iPads tied to the purchaser's Apple ID.
