Chrome app seems to disable 1Password mini app

First post here, greetings!

Typically the after selecting a website with the 1Password mini app my Chrome web browser (which is set as my default) will immediately launch or open a new tab, go to the page and enter username/password... boom, done.

However, the browser/tabs stopped opening lately, and it only occurs while I'm using a Chrome app called Workflowy. To be clear - because this was new to me at least - it's in an "app" that opens through Chrome into its own window which is not part of the browser experience. I've noticed if I only have the Chrome app on, and no Chrome browser windows, selecting a site with my 1Password mini app does nothing. If a Chrome browser window is already open, the 1Password mini app works as expected.

So I'm curious if this is something I can adjust from the 1Password side of things to allow it to work as before. I'm guessing it might be something happening on the Chrome side of things, however I'd find this a little strange because I've never encountered anything at all that prevents the mini app from doing its thing.

Any ideas?

    Hi @mdw2lax,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been running into this problem. I've only briefly checked out Workflowy, but I am unable to re-create the error here. Whether I have the Workflowy tab in a separate window or in my current browser window, the 1Password Mini seems to behave just fine and opens windows nicely whenever I ask.

Now, because I just signed up for Workflowy to test this, it's entirely possible that I'm missing something really obvious.

Please give me a bit more information about your workflow here: what are the steps that you are taking (and how should I be using Workflowy so that it blocks 1Password? ... just to better test things of course!) :)
