No prompt for master password on websites

If 1P4 automatically fills passwords it must be unlocked. If it's unlocked you must, at some time, have provided your master password. Two questions:
- Have you saved the bank passwords in your browser and is it perhaps the browser that is completing them?
- What are your settings in the 1P4 > Preferences > Security screen, under Auto-lock?

Thanks Stephen for the reply.
Yes 1P4 was unlocked and remained unlocked even when I quit the application and reopened.
1. No those passwords are not saved in the browser
2. The following are checked (I'm translating since I don't have IP4 in English): 1. Autolock when computer is off. 2 when screensaver is active. 4 when quick change of user. 5 when computer inactive for 5 minutes.
Is there any way to get email notifications for replies on this forum?
Thanks again0 -
You can get email notifications for replies to threads to which you post by clicking on the star at the top right of the thread to bookmark it. Then check your forum profile (under Notification Preferences) to ensure you have checked Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions. (There are other options there too for email notifications.)
So I guess the next question is have you tried opening the main 1P app before logging in to your bank to see whether or not the app is actually locked? Alternatively, why not reboot, don't open 1P4 and then see if it still logs you in on the bank site. (It certainly shouldn't!)

Thanks to your questions I'm getting a feel for the app (just downloaded it a few hrs ago). Noticed I could also manually lock it so it doesn't automatically auto fill.

As you're new to 1Password you might find the on-line user guide and knowledge base helpful - even if they don't specifically deal with the lock issues you mention. Sorry if you've already found those pages!

Just one point you may have missed.
If 1PW Mini is running and unlocked, then 1PW itself will stay unlocked even after quitting and re-opening. That makes good sense as teh data can be almost as easily read in the Mini as in the main application, so there is no point in locking 1PW if 1PW <ini is unlocked.

Thanks Stephen and danco, I've noticed the things you have both pointed out.
