Trouble with Autofill and Submit [moved to email]

On some web sites with Chrome using the 1Password extension will autofill but not submit. On the same web site when it is launched from the 1Password application the password will not fill. Thus making it not launch. What gives? Some times it works sometimes it doesn't. This 1Pass is not consistent and it bites the big one.

    I'm so sorry to hear you're having trouble here. You don't mention which version of 1Password you are using, but if you are on version 4.1.2, I'd like you to install this Autosubmit Script. This should greatly improve 1Password's submitting. :)

    As far as the filling issues go, I'd be happy to troubleshoot this for you. Could you provide a few websites that 1Password is having trouble with?

    What I am using is a long story. I hope you don't mind. I first downloaded 1Password from your website and tried it a bit and liked it. So, I bought 1Password from the AppStore and installed it. Then after a while I followed a procedure to move to the website version. At any rate when I click, about 1Password, it say that I am using 4.2.2. But, when I go to the application folder it says that I have both 1Password and 1Password4. I don't know if this is a problem or not. I also use the ios program on my iphone and ipad and everything seems to sync ok through dropbox.

    I have installed Autosubmit Script and it has not made a difference.

    The following website will autofill and launch with the mini and from the extension, but it will not launch from the 1Password4 applicaton. https://profile.brighthouse.com/residential/login/?target=https://myservices.brighthouse.com/home

    This web site will autofill all the wrong fields from the application, but will not from the mini and the extension. http://autoclubsouth.aaa.com/?zip=34691&devicecd=PC

    This web site will only fill all the wrong fields. http://www.ancestry.com/
    These are just a few of the web sites that are problematic. There are a lot of other sites that work perfectly though.

    There is one more weird web site. It will autofill and submit, but after it logs in, the page remains blank. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/signin/popup

    Hi @harveyt,

    Since you have both the Mac App Store and the webstore version installed, I'm wondering if there might be some conflict with 1Password Mini. I think this will be solved most efficiently by taking a closer look at your system. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?
