1Password not syncing data to Mac & Windows

    I am having a similar issue in that I have updated my passwords on 1Password for PC, and the update is fine on my iOS app, but hasn't made it to my Mac or another 1Password on another PC. Any thoughts?

    I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we experienced a surge in support requests recently. We're doing the best we can to get back to our usual speedy replies as soon as possible.

    I've got a few basic things that we want to check regarding Dropbox first, before we get into the serious troubleshooting:

    • Please ensure that Dropbox is installed and running on all your computers
    • Check that you are logged in with the same account on all computers and devices
    • Confirm that Dropbox sync is selected in 1Password > Preferences > Sync on your Mac and PCs, and that it is pointing at the same 1Password.agilekeychain file.

    If all of those items check out, let's run a test and see where things are getting tripped up:

    • Create a test entry on your Mac ("Test, Mac") and add some data
    • Create a test entry on your iOS device ("Test, iOS") and add some data
    • Create a test entry on your PCs ("Test, PC") and add some data
    • Which entries show up correctly on which devices? Which entries are missing?
    • Log in to the Dropbox website and click on the 1Password.html file inside your 1Password.agilekeychain folder
    • Enter your Master Password
    • Which of your test entries show up in your database here?

    Please let me know the results of this little experiment - once we have a better idea of where things are going sideways, we should be able to get this straightened out simply for you :)
