General Questions (Not Problems)

Hi Everyone,

I have two questions that I'm just curious about more than anything else.

  1. When you edit a log-in, there is an option to attach a file to the profile details. What is the purpose of this?

  2. 1Password seems to perform a local backup every so often which is fine. I just wondered where the location is?

Thanks again.

    1. The attachment field applies to all items but is clearly more relevant to some than others. For example, in a passport item you might attach a scanned page of your passport, in a software licence you might attach a licence file. Obviously it's less relevant for login items but I have absolutely no doubt someone on the forum will come up with some use for it even in that context!
    2. If you go to 1P4 > Preferences > Backup, highlight a backup and click on Show Files you'll find out where the backup is (at least if you've chosen the Finder view option to show the path bar). It's also documented in this article:

Where the backup files are stored?
