Master Password not being accepted [resolved by starting over]

I am not sure if I forgot it, because I keep typing in what I think I created it as, and it's not accepting it. I am wondering if it is too long and there is an error with the password not entering past what it shows in the bar?

At any rate, I want to throw my laptop against the wall at this point, but that would be extremely counterproductive.

I have a MacBook Pro 2011 and it's running OS X 10.9.3. I think I have Mavericks. I have 1Password 4, version 4.4.1.

I just downloaded and created the password today, and have not even added any accounts or synced any info to this.

If you don't yet have any valuable information in 1P4 you can start over. In passing, don't use any special, non-ASCII characters in your master password.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I was following another set of directions to start over and I think it must have been for an older Mac OS. Mountain Lion, maybe, or something. Anyway, I couldn't follow them because they obviously didn't apply to my computer.

    Thanks for your help. :)
