Logging on on to www.marksandspencer.com issue
Hi. I am trialling 1Password system and finding it good except when I attempt to log on to www.marksandspencer.com. This site has a 'sign in' menu option which opens a modal box requesting your email address and password. I have tried several times to set this up but to no avail!
Can anyone help please?

Do you get an error message something like "A generic error has occurred"? I tried creating a test login and that's what I got (rather than any more meaningful error message like "Incorrect user name or password").
In other words (although I don't have an M&S login) it looks as though I can't make it work either. Usually in cases like this the answer is either:
- to re-create and save a new login manually; or
- to find a different login page that behaves better.
I have a nasty feeling 1 would not work in this case, but you could try it.

Hi Stephen
I don't get any error messages at all! When using 1Password with M&S, I get to the secondary web page containing both the fields for the user's email address and password but nothing is passed through from 1Password.
I think the problem lies in the fact that this secondary page appears, interrupting the 1Password data flow. I would certainly appreciate any further thoughts though.

What I did was to get the actual login page on screen and then I tried creating and saving the login manually (as the link in my previous post). It was when I tried using that login from 1P4 I got the "generic error". Sorry that won't help you but for the moment I'm stuck for more ideas. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with better ideas than mine...or, at least, an alternative login page that works!
