Disable HTTP warning

I have a particular login page that I use multiple times a day at work. It's HTTP not HTTPS, and every time I log in I get a warning from 1Password.

Is it possible to disable the HTTP warning, either for this specific form or globally?

Thanks

  • Hi @matt9,

It's not possible to disable to completely insecure login warning. However, if the website doesn't have an HTTPS login page available, you can remove the “s” from the login's website, and you won't get the warning any more.

In some cases, the website may have changed and your saved secure login may not work. If the website no longer offers a secure login page, you can edit your saved item in 1Password, and change the “https” on the saved URL to “http”.

This is certainly not ideal, and you may wish to contact the website in question and ask them to support secure logins once again.
