    This seems like a Mail for Yosemite issue. I tried to drag an email out of it to the Desktop and it wouldn't work can you confirm that it happens for you too?

    Just to confirm, I am using Yosemite. I can drag and drop a Mail attachment to the desktop successfully (but I have to drop it to the "physical" desktop, it will not work if I try to drop it on "Desktop" in the sidebar of a Finder window)

    Hi @jwholder‌,

    This is a known issue with Apple's Mail app on Yosemite, it wouldn't let you drag the email onto other apps. You have to first drag it to the desktop before you can drag it into 1Password. I did test other email apps and they do support dragging the email onto 1Password.

    Thanks for the confirmation. Hopefully Apple will release a fix for directly dragging attachments from Mail to other drop targets.
