Use Purchased "1Password 5" License to Activate "1Password 4"

I would like to purchase the "1Password Mac + Windows Bundle"
However, I am running Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks and cannot install and run 1Password 5 (Yosemite required for 5, correct?).
I cannot upgrade my Mac OS until several of the key applications I use support Yosemite -- sometime in the future.

If I purchase the bundle I mentioned above, will the Mac license activate my "1Password 4" trial installation on my Mac running Mavericks?

8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
OS 10.9.5 "Mavericks"

    Hi Edward,

    You're correct, 1Password 5 requires OS X Yosemite.

    If you purchase 1Password 5 from our store, it will allow you to use 1Password 4 as well. The version 5 license is backwards compatible with version 4.
