1Password not compatible with Yosemite 10.10.1
I installed the Yosemite 10.10.1 update today. After installation message appeared on screen stating that Yosemite 10.10.1 was not compatible with 1 Password. I have 1P 5.0.2 installed. I don't know of a newer version. Please clarify.

Hmmm...
1P works just fine on both my iMac and my Macbook with the 10.10.1 OS. You might try replacing the app.0 -
I can confirm 1P5 works perfectly on OS X 10.10.1. I am using the 1P5 5.1 beta but I'm sure that makes no difference. What is the exact message you are seeing, please, @PasswordCraziness?

1Password 5.0.2 also appears to work fine for me, yet the Mac OS 10.10.1 installer listed "1Password 5" as incompatible. However, the installer did not move the 1Password app to the "Incompatible Software" directory ("Macintosh HD/Incompatible Software/") as it did with both the "Kindle" and "GPGMail" apps.
What's the official AgileBits response to this message from Apple, Inc?
My version of 1Password 5 was NOT installed from the Mac App Store (I'm not sure if this is relevant). I got my five 1Password licenses and downloaded the installer from the AgileBits website.
Thanks!

latest 1password 5.0.2 build 502007. Update states 1password is incompatible on boot up.

Damn you Apple!!!!
I'm kidding. Hey, glitches happen so as long as 1Password is running and working I wouldn't think twice about it  I haven't gotten round to updating myself just yet but some in the office already have.

So far we've not had any reports that 1Password isn't working so you're safe to ignore that warning

To be quite clear, when I installed OS X 10.10.1 (over OS X 10.10) I received no message about 1P5 being incompatible. Neither was the application file moved from the Applications folder. The only difference might be that I'm running a 5.1 beta.

I had the same issue when booting in 10.10.1 this morning on my MacBookPro.
1Password is still working (and still in the usual Applications folder) but there is a "Incompatible Software" folder at the root of the drive, with a 1PasswdIM.bundle in it.
Hope that helps.0 -
I'm running OS X 10.10.1 and 1Password 5.0.2. I have not received any notice about incompatibility, and, although there is an Incompatible Software folder on my root directory, it contains only reference to a pen tablet preference pane. Nothing about 1Password. 1Password functions properly.
I haven't gotten back on the beta testing team since it was confined to Yosemite beta testers.

I'm getting this error message: "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini - Please restart 1Password. If this does not help, please contact AgileBits support"
Note that I've tried to restart my computer and re-install 1Password 5.

@LudoMC 1PasswdIM looks to be a relic from 1P2.
@jameslee236 I don't think the message you're getting has anything to do with compatibility with OS X 10.10.1. Try the solution recommended in this AgileBits post and see if that fixes the problem for you.

I just installed OSX 10.10.1 and got the 1password incompatible message. I'm running 1Pswd 5.0.2. I attempted to start it normally, and it appears to be working fine. I don't see any "incompatible software" folder.

@Stephen_C I tried that and it didn't work... it's interesting because it only stopped working after I installed the new OS. Didn't realize how important 1Password was to my working life until now...

Hey guys,
Sorry to hear that some of you are still experiencing problems launching 1Password after updating to Yosemite 10.10.1.
If you are still encountering problems even after you replaced 1Password in your /Applications folder, we should try the steps below to sort this out:
Make sure that you quit both 1Password and 1Password mini before replacing 1Password 5.app in your /Applications folder
Download 1Password 5.app from here
Reboot your Mac and launch 1Password.
If your still having problems after performing these steps, please send us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic and your forum username, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful.
Once we see the report we'll be able to better assist you.
Thanks in advance!

The problem is this: 1PasswdIM.bundle
It was moved to the incompatible software folder after installing 10.10.1.
Saw the other thread (no closed) that the bundle is from an older version of 1Password. Still causes concern when the message is displayed to users.
Maybe in the future the 1Password installer could find and remove old files from previous installs and avoid the confusion generated by them.
