how to store apple id

Please can anyone tell me how to store apple id - which also is the iCloud drive password too. Thank you

    Hi @100mark‌

    Mine is just stored as a Login item. I might be misunderstanding the nature of the question though so if I have could you expand a little on what you want to achieve. Hopefully once I have a better understanding I (or someone else) will be able to assist.

    thankyou - I guess my confusion is because this is not a browser based login - so when I sign in to apple iD (like in iTunes) - then 1password does not ask me if I want to save it, the way it does with browser based logins...

    Hi @100mark,

    I would still recommend storing it as a Login item. There will likely be cases where you need to fill it into a web browser too (icloud.com, appleid.apple.com, store.apple.com, etc).

    Regardless of which item type you use, you can only auto-fill and auto-save logins using web browsers with the 1Password browser extension installed (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc). It's not possible to auto-fill into apps such as iTunes. You'll need to copy and paste the login in those cases. (Tip: Pressing ⇧⌘C will copy the password of the selected login in mini.)
