I can't figure out how to save my edits in Secure Notes. Also, the text file created in Secure Notes can be opened in Finder and therefore, it's not secure. Is this how it is suppose to work? Is there a tutorial available for Secure Notes? I'm using version 4.4.3 and OSX 10.9.5. Thanks.

    Hi @pika‌

I'm attaching a screenshot of a Secure Note for me. I'm doing so because it seems to differ from how you are describing them and I want to see if we can spot a different approach.

All I have to do is click on the save button to save edits to my secure note. If I didn't know any better it sounds like you're attaching a text file and storing the text in that? Certainly you can do that if you want but attachments wasn't designed with editing in mind. You would need to drag the attachment somewhere e.g. your Downloads folder or your Desktop, remove the attachment from your Secure Note item, edit the item using your preferred editor, save and the attach the new copy. As you can see, possible but not optimal.

Let us know if any of that matches up with how you're trying to use Secure Notes (or not) and we can carry on from there
