not completing logins on sites
My 1Password (v 5.0.2) seems to be operating and syncing (2 computers and an 8.1.2 ios iphone) thru the icloud, but will not infill or open any of the
login sites listed in 1password. it has been fine in the past.

If you copy and paste the password from 1P to the relevant login page does that work? If so, it sounds rather like the unresolved issue in this thread. (Sorry that's not a very helpful reply—but it might just be worth checking the pasting route as well as keeping an eye on the other thread.)
When you post again please let us know what OS X version you are using, together with the browser and 1P extension version number (in the browser) that you're using.
Edit: are you by any chance using Sophos or do you have any special firewall or proxy server that may need configuring?

Please let me know if Stephen's suggestions above (particularly those with respect to firewalls and proxies) have helped you out! If you're still having trouble, we'd love to hear a bit more detail about the trouble:
- Are you seeing any error messages when you attempt to fill?
- Which browsers are you using? (Please include version numbers here)
Once we know a few more details about the issue, we should be able to get it sorted out.
