Cannot find license

Hi there, I purchased 1Password on 3/26/14 and for some reason I cannot find my license anywhere, nor the email with the license key. I thought that maybe I bought it though the App Store, but it's not listed in my purchases. I also tried to retrieve it on your website, but for some reason my email address isn't found. It's very odd, because I have been using it for months and not trying to switch over to a new laptop and can't find the license. I know I bought it on 3/26/14, because I did find an iMessage telling my buddy that I had purchased it the night before. Very strange. Is there any other way to find my license?

    Let's find out first where you bought it. Go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there (ignoring the credits, of course). Once we know that we'll be on the way to sorting the licence issue.

    Right, so you clearly downloaded it direct from AgileBits and it follows you do need a licence file. If you're sure you bought it (I say that only because there was some bug in 1P4 that allowed it to be run without complaining about lack of a licence) you can email support+licenses @ agilebits.com with full details of your purchase (the date, your full name and address and the email address you used when you purchased) and they'll be able to reunite you with your licence.

    Edit: it might be a good idea also to include in your email a link to this thread.

    Hi @kramersf‌

    It might also be worth checking your purchase history in iTunes, a guide for which is at See your purchase history in the iTunes Store. That way you can eliminate both it being a MAS purchase and a mistaken iOS purchase (as licences are per platform). If you're still having no joy please do as Stephen_C suggested and email us at support+licenses@agilebits.com with all the relevant details so we can try and find your purchase.
