Cannot select a vault

Performed reinstall - nothing was working.
Same issue.
Deleted info from ~/Library/ related to 1password. Deleted program. Did a second reinstall from Appstore,.
Get splash screen, preferences show up, but I get no way to start a new vault.

Long story short - I want to connect to the one I have set up on my iPhone and iPad on iCloud. Is this possible and how do I do it?

Any help appreciated.

    Is your download from the Mac App Store? Only that version has access to iCloud syncing since the release of Yosemite and 1Password 5. Just checking, since you haven't said where your are downloading the software.

    Are you trying to reset 1Password on your Mac and start over with a new (i.e. empty) vault? If so, and if you're using 1Password 4 or 5 for Mac, please make sure you follow these steps: Starting Over

    As hawkmoth mentioned, you'll need to be using the Mac App Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac in order to use iCloud sync. Can you please let us know the exact version of 1Password for Mac you have installed, and if it is the Mac App Store or web store version? Also, what version of 1Password are you using on your iPhone and iPad?
