I need to REPLACE the Dropbox db not MERGE it

I have uploaded a db from my Mac to Dropbox. I would like my iOS phone to use the Dropbox db but apparently it has it's own Primary Vault which it insists on merging with the new one in Dropbox. I really do not want to merge anything. The correct db is the one on Dropbox. It must supersede the devices local db.

How can I be sure that the Mac is using the Dropbox db? The active vault names and locations are obscure.

Thanks.

    Hey @head4heights‌,

Can I ask, do you wish to completely remove all the data on your 1Password on your iOS devices? If so I would recommend just starting over with 1Password 5 for iOS:

    • Tap & hold on the 1Password icon on the home screen. It will begin to move slightly, and an x will appear on the corner.
    • Tap the x on 1Password, and confirm the deletion.
    • Press the Home button to stop the other apps on your screen from moving.
    • Now, visit the App Store on your device, and tap the Purchased section (on iPhone, Purchased is nested within Updates).
    • Find 1Password in your purchase history and tap the cloud icon to re-download, free of charge.

    Cheers!

I suppose the answer to your question is yes... the db on the device is obsolete and I need to access the shared db.
I gave your suggestion a go and it appears to have worked. :)
    Thank you.
