Question about "rich icons"
Hello,
i am using 1Passwort 4 for Mac about 1 year now.
I noticed that 1Password does not always download the HTTP-icons.
for e.g. if i create a login and paste the URL "https://www.amazon.de" it immediately download the icon, but if i create a login and paste this URL "http://www.ceins.de" or "http://forum.kodi.tv/" i do not see the icon although this website has one.
I tried to enable and disable the coloured icons in the 1Passwort-settings but it does not download the missing icons, just the ones who was already available. Can you explain to me why 1Passwort does not always download the icons for every URL?
How do i force 1Password to re-download ALL icons?
Thanks

Hi @bogomil22
We maintain a cache of many sites and that's what 1Password refers to, it's why if you owned Little Snitch you wouldn't get inundated with requests to access various sites. Certainly I can pass on a request for these sites if you wish but it isn't that you're doing anything wrong at all or you're missing a button or option. If you felt strongly about it and didn't want to to wait you can add custom icons to any item simply by dragging an image over the existing one. That applies to all types, something I've used to great effect for my different server items.
If you have any more questions do please ask away.

Thanks for the answer. I thought 1Password is downloading the icons directly from the websites, but i am wrong. So I can understand that your icon-cache-server can not have every icon for every website :) I just downloaded them manually and dragging them into 1Password. Thanks for the help.
