Folders - no, not the ones we sync to...
In the list on the left of the 1PWD app, I have a lot of unnamed folders. You can see what I'm typing about in the attached screen shot. I didn't create them, or at least I have no recollection of doing so, other than two that are named, so what I'd like to know please, is whether I can safely delete them without also removing their contents. I suppose I should also ask if anyone knows why they are there, how they got created and so on...?
TIA,
Tim.

Someone may be able to help more if you tell us:
- what version of 1P for Mac you are using;
- your OS X version;
- whether you sync to any iOS device and, if so, how you sync and the version number of 1P for iOS that you're using;
- whether you imported data into 1P from any other app.

Yes - quite right Stephen - not by best - I don't know what I was thinking. Clearly, I wasn't actually thinking! The answers are:
- I'm using 1PWD 5.0.2 from the MAS
- I'm running it on OS X 10.10.1
- I sync using iCloud to my iPhone 6 and iPad Air, both running iOS 8.1.2
- I didn't import any data from any other app other than previous version of 1PWD which was not from the MAS. Also, I used to sync using Dropbox.
Hopefully, that's enough, but if more is better then please let me know what further information I can supply to get a resolution. Apologies you had to ask!

Hi @TimL,
Sorry to hear sync is behaving oddly for you. If I remember correctly, there was a release of 1Password for iOS that shipped where folder structures were flattened (i.e. everything became top-level) when initially synced via iCloud. This may be what happened here, though I'm not sure why they would have ended up without any titles.
We fixed a ton of sync issues in 1Password for Mac 5.1 and 1Password for iOS 5.2 which should be released soon-ish. My gut tells me that we shouldn't worry about this unless we see this reproduce after you've updated to 5.1/5.2.
Before deleting these folders, you'll want to select all items in the folders, right click on them and choose Remove from Folder. Otherwise when you delete the folder, all of the items will be moved to the trash.
I hope this helps.

Gotcha Rick. Thanks. Will wait for the updates and see what transpires, but essentially the final paragraph of your reply answers my question perfectly.
Cheers!
