Incorrect version of 1Password Mini
After upgrading to version 5 pf 1Password for Mac I get the error you see in the attached file.
"The system launched an incorrect version of 1Password mini..."
I've updated my Safari plugin too. Not sure what to do from here. Seems to work okay but its annoying that something is broken and I'm reminded overtime I open the application.
Thanks

Hi @Gravesend,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. When using 1Password in Yosemite, you need to make sure that you have a single instance of 1Password on your hard drive.
Here's how to fix this:
- Make sure that you have a copy of 1Password 5 in your /Applications folder
- Open the 1Password main app, and press ⌃⌘Q (Control+Command+Q) to fully quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
- Trash all other copies of 1Password from your hard drive (do not use app cleaning utilities). This includes the copy in your Downloads folder.
- Make sure that there is no copy of 1Password in the Trash either. Please empty the Trash if that's the case.
- Launch 1Password, and it should work fine.
I hope this helps. :)

I chucked all but one 1Password 5 app (including the 1Password 5 mini application) and now 1Password crashes, saying it "failed to connect to 1Password Mini. Please quit 1Password and start again." Perhaps I deleted too much? just tried to follow instructions. Grrrr.
So then I redownloaded 1Password 5 and replaced the previous copy and now it works just fine. Go figure,,,
Thanks
