Upgrading from 4 to 5 and Mavericks to Yosemite?

I am going to do the above. Am I right in thinking I should upgrade Mavericks to Yosemite first and then go from 4 to 5? I also use an iPad on ios8
If so, will my existing master password and Dropbox sync setup remain intact, or will I need to set up everything again?
Also, if I add a second Mac to my system which is not currently on 1Password, will the setup of 1Password on the new Mac automatically set up and use my current Dropbox vault? I don't want to end up by wiping things or ending up with a load of duplicates!

Yes - because 1P5 runs only under OS X Yosemite.

You should not have to set up everything again. 1P5 ought to import your 1P4 settings.

I think you'll need to download and install 1P on it (obviously!) and then point the new Mac to the relevant Dropbox file—but otherwise it should be pretty straightforward, I believe.
