Problem between iPhone and Mac Book Pro
Good evening, since a few days, I cannot synchronize my iPhone and iPad with my Mac Book Pro any more via the wifi method. The problem is the following: my iPhone/iPad (ios 8.1.3) does not see my Mac (Yosemite). When I hit "refresh" , nothing happens. Of course, I use the same wifi for each item. I deleted and re-installed the app on each device already. Unfortunately, this move was useless. Please, help. So far, everything was working fine.

Please confirm that you're using 1P 5.1 for Mac and 1P 5.2 for iOS. Please also just check, on the Mac under System Preferences > Sharing, that Yosemite has not managed to add something like "(2)" to your computer name.
While I appreciate you have deleted and re-installed just try this:
- on each device (including the Mac) disable wifi sync, then re-enable it on each device; and/or
- reboot each device.
If none of that works try temporarily disabling any firewall you have on the Mac and see if that makes a difference. (I appreciate it's reasonably unlikely to do so if wifi sync was previously working but desperate times call for desperate measures...I'm running out of ideas. :) )

Hi @rdeschenaux
To expand a little on names. There have been blips with Bonjour in Yosemite and possibly iOS 8. They get confused and rename themselves and that messes everything up.
iOS: In iOS Settings > General > About make sure the Name of your iOS device doesn't look odd at all e.g. no
(2)
at the end or anything like that, edit if needed. If it looks normal go ahead and reboot your iOS device.Mac: In System Preferences > Sharing do the same as above, make sure your Computer Name is normal looking and doesn't have anything like
(2)
at the end, edit if needed. If it looks fine go ahead and reboot your Mac.The number one issue with Wi-Fi Sync is Bonjour throwing a hissy fit. Correcting the Bonjour names where necessary and rebooting should take care of most causes.
Let us know if that makes any difference.

Good morning, it is working again. I switched off our wifi for a few minutes and switched it on again. After this move, my iphone and ipad "could see" my mac book pro, and I could synchronize my devices again. Thank you for taking care of my problem. It is nice to see a team working with users. I just upgraded to the "pro" version, it looks very nice. All the best, Robert
