1Password Trial Expired Notice
I down loaded 1Password from Agilebits.com/1password. I have spent considerable time installing my passwords. At the site that I made this down load from, there was no mention of purchasing this software or that my download was a 30 day trial and I was unaware of any 30 day trial until I logged into Dropbox to see if I had successfully backed up 1password at their site. When I opened my safe at the Dropbox site I saw a notice that my 30 day trial expired. I'd like some clarification on whether any part of this software is free and if I am in danger of all my passwords disappearing? I feel the site where I down loaded this from was deceptive in that there was no mention of the download simply being a trial, at least that I noticed. I wouldn't have downloaded if it hadn't been recommended at our Mac computer club. If I need to purchase the license to this software, I would prefer to do it at the Mac app store so I can back it up with iCloud, but I'm wondering if I'll have to download the software again and consequently go through the reloading of all my passwords again? Since I've downloaded this software, my desktop died and this is now the only place my passwords exist.

Hi @rgevans871,
I'm afraid to say that yes, the software does require the purchase of a licence to run it fully unlocked past 30 days but there are a couple of points I would like to stress.
- Once you reach the end of your trial, while you won't be able to edit or add we will never stop you viewing your Login items. To do that would be effectively holding you to ransom and we're not like that. The 30 days is to give you time to evaluate and decide if you value our work but you're certainly under no obligation to purchase unless you deem it worthy. If not you can still access those in there until you decide on how you wish to go forward.
- If you were to purchase from Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) it would search and discover the vault you created in the Agile Web Store (AWS) version. It would import it and you would simply be asked for your existing Master Password. At that point the two vaults, MAS and AWS are separate so we would recommend removing the AWS version completely from your system. You would need to set up 1Password again in terms of syncing etc. as it just imports the vault, not the settings.
If your desktop dying means the only place your vault is at the moment is Dropbox that is also not an issue. If you start again with a fresh computer and Dropbox already synced then 1Password will find the Dropbox sync data.
If you have any more questions do please ask
