Using version 3 and 5

I just purchased a Macbook Air and I am having a heck of a time trying to get 1password to work in browsers. I tried Google Chrome and Safari and not having any luck. Possibly there is a problem with using my old Macbook that cannot be upgraded and I I want to keep using it for a while with version 3. But I have an iPad and iPhone that are the newer version 1Password and had no problem with them. Not sure what I have done wrong with the Air. Need help getting 1Password to work in browsers. Thanks

    Hi @smalls,

Thanks for taking the time to write in! Let's get this straightened out. :) First of all, we'll need a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem:

    • What is the version number of 1Password that you have installed? (Please include all relevant computers and devices)
    • What is the version number of your operating system (for all computers and devices)?
    • What is the version number of your browser?
    • What is the version number of your browser extension? (This can normally be found in the browser’s preferences, in the ‘extensions’ pane.)
    • What are you using to keep things in sync?

The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)
