1Password is completely broken; it won't open anymore

When I try to open the software I get this message:
Check with the developer to make sure 1Password 5 works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.
I redownloaded it and received the same message when I tried to open the new file. I'm running Yosemite.

Please try this:
- Drag the 1P app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you need to keep).
- Empty the trash and reboot.
- Re-download and re-install 1P.
If you follow that procedure exactly it should fix the problem.

Hi @rossdleavitt,
Stephen_C's suggestion is the definitive answer here and we've not had an instance yet where it doesn't resolve the issue. As long as you follow the steps I believe we'll be hearing soon that you're back in business.
