Need Complete Uninstall Including Data
Bought 1Password for Mac tonight, intending to use 1password on all devices. Forgot that I has a copy of 1Password 4 installed already that I had setup up but never used. Must have set password and put in at least one test data record. The instructions for starting over are not working, presumably because I have data? Have tried uninstalling with clean my mac 2 as well as following the start over instructions. Is there a script that will completely uninstall all versions?

Solved problem myself. This site has different versions of starting over instructions. One version mentions the container folder; other versions only mention application support and preferences; when i followed the steps in the version that mentioned container, it worked. My os is yosemite. I did have two versions 4 and 5 installed. Maybe i succeed after having followed both sets of instructions.

Hi @mtsianco ,
I'm so glad to hear you were able to find the solution in our guides, although I'm sorry it was a bit confusing for you. The reason for the differing versions of instructions is that 1Password will store its data in a different location depending on whether you purchased from the Mac App Store or the AgileBits webstore.
I hope that 1Password works smoothly for you from now on, but if you have any further questions, we're here to help!
