    Hi @abney01,

I think we need a bit more detail to help you in this particular instance.

    1. How were you deleting old versions of 1Password?
    2. Do you use any kind of Mac app cleaner at all?
    3. If you look in in your Trash, do you see a 1Password 4 folder at all?

1Password 5 uses the same location as 1Password 4 for keeping your vault so if you deleted a 1Password 4 from ~/Library/Application Support/ then that could certainly explain it disappearing on you.

If you do then what I would recommend is the following.

    1. Quit both 1Password and 1Password mini. You can do this with the keyboard shortcut ⌃⌘Q when 1Password is open (it doesn't have to be unlocked).
    2. Restore the 1Password 4 folder from your Trash (right click on it and select the Put Back option).
    3. Reboot your Mac.

Upon launching 1Password it will hopefully be restored. If this isn't the case, do you use Time Machine at all or were you syncing to the likes of iCloud or Dropbox at all?

We'll work with you until we've exhausted all possibilities so hopefully we'll have you up and running with a working vault again soon.
