Trouble saving AND using passwords

When I go to new websites, 1Password is not asking to save the new passwords (Preferences is correct). Even worse, it does not fill in passwords automatically any more-I do also have icloud turned on. I use Safari and the latest versions of 1Password and Yosemite,

    Apologies for the trouble you're experiencing with 1Password. Let's see if we can sort this out.

    Is 1Password unlocked and Mini running in the menu bar (the lock icon) when you're logging into these new websites? And do you have the latest version of the Safari browser extension installed?

    (Preferences is correct).

    Just to be extra sure we're on the same page, this means the "Automatically ask to save new logins" box is checked in the Browser preferences, right?

    Even worse, it does not fill in passwords automatically any more

    If you wouldn't mind providing a bit more specific detail here, what steps are you taking, and how is 1Password not behaving as expected?

    To clarify, 1Password has never automatically filled in passwords. It does require you to use the ⌘\ keyboard shortcut or select a login from the mini or browser extension or before it will fill and submit login credentials. Are you saying that even when you do that (with 1Password unlocked), 1Password still doesn't fill the login info? If that is the case, would you mind providing some example website URLs that are not filling for you, so that we can test them out?
