We share one license registered to me. She has her own vault one her computer as do I on my computer. We have new iPhones and want to add 1Password to our phones. I have successfully done that, but when she tries to sync her iPhone it only lists my computer for syncing over wifi. Does she have to get her own license to use her own vault on her iPhone?

1Password Version: 6.0.2
Extension Version: 4.5.2
OS Version: 10.10.5
Sync Type: WiFi

  • Hi @sbwestover,

It doesn't sound as though licensing is the issue here. Have you tried restarting her Mac since attempting this? Sometimes restarting the computer will kick start it so that it appears in the listing.

    Please let us know.

We rebooted her computer, turned off my computer but her iPhone does not show her computer on the network as a candidate vault. However, when we turned on my computer, it shows that my computer is a candidate vault for WiFi sync on her iPhone. We are both on our home network.

    Hi @sbwestover,

thanks for getting back to us. I want to make sure that 1Password on your wifes Mac is set up correctly to be able to wifi sync. Could you please open her 1Password preferences but pressing command + , on her keyboard? There select the Wifi-Server tab. Is the checkbox for "Run a Wi-Fi server from this Mac to sync with iOS and Android devices" turned on?
