Hard drive crash
So my hard drive decided to permanently take a vacation and lost all my 1Password backups. HOWEVER I still have everything on my iPhone.
1. Can I use my iPhone to transfer data to my iMac then create a new backup?

Hi @igarrettw,
I'm sorry to hear about your hard drive! I don't suppose you have a backup of your Mac on an external drive (like a Time Machine backup or something along those lines)? If you do, we can help you find your 1Password data on that backup and restore it to 1Password on another Mac.
If you hadn't been backing up your Mac, at least it sounds like you have all your 1Password data on your iPhone. We can certainly help you sync or restore that data to your iMac! If you were syncing your 1Password data between your old Mac and iPhone, you can use that same sync method to get your data into 1Password on the iMac. For example, if you had been using Dropbox sync, just make sure Dropbox is installed & setup on the iMac with your same Dropbox account, install 1Password on the iMac, and you'll be able to sync your data from Dropbox during the setup when you first open 1Password. We explain those steps in greater detail here: Use existing 1Password data on a new computer
Does that help? Please let us know how it goes or if you run into any problems with that, and we'll continue from there. Thanks! :)

Hi @igarrettw ,
On 1Password on your iPhone, go to Settings > Sync > Primary > Sync Service.
Under Dropbox you'll see a path in small text. That is the location of the sync file - it may be in a folder (e.g. within 1Password inside the Apps folder) on Dropbox - that folder will be displayed there before the file name. The file name will either end with .opvault or .agilekeychain. If you go to Dropbox on your Mac you should find it. This is assuming you are logged into the same Dropbox account. If you still don't see it, please let us know.
Cheers,
Kevin0
