I have installed version 6.2, but the message pops up that a wrong version op 1pw mini was started

Updating to 6.2 resulted in getting a message that a wrong 1Password mini version was started. Please advise

1Password Version: now 6.2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OSX 10.11.4
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Hi @bertreul ,

    It sounds like you have an older version of 1Password somewhere on your hard disk (or a backup disk if you have one connected). Sometimes, OS X finds and launches the wrong copy of 1Password mini and launches that instead. We don't have much control over this (we can only tell OS X what to launch, but not which copy), but we can recommend that finding and removing the other copy should solve the problem.

    I managed to get it working, thnx. Appears there was a map of 1Password 4 on my Mac. Removed, stopped mini version and updated. That seems to have solved the problem. Thnx again, Bert
