Assistance with Dropbox and iCloud data removal after migrating to 1Password Personal
Hello. I have been a longtime iOS 1Password app user as well as a 1Password Anywhere user via Dropbox Sync. I also have sync'd my vault data with iCloud via the 1Password app. Yesterday I signed up for a 1Password Personal account, added that account to my 1Password iOS app, and copied all of my logins over to my new Personal vault (from my old Primary vault) and have confirmed that I have copied everything over successfully.
I'm now at the somewhat scary (at least for me) stage of stepping away from the old vault and its associated data/backups both on Dropbox and iCloud, and I'd like some assistance (ok, hand-holding) to make sure I correctly remove this old data successfully and that I move onto the new vault successfully.
I've read the support document "Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account" and it discusses removing the old vault but doesn't reference specifically (at least I don't see it) how to deal with the iCloud and 1Password vault data. Can someone please give me a step-by-step walkthrough on what do now that I have copied all my data into the new Personal vault? I really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi @karizma23
Thanks for taking the time to write in.
Once you have verified that all of your data exists in your Personal or other 1Password.com vault(s) please do the following:
- Open and unlock 1Password for iOS, then tap Settings > Advanced. Scroll down and tap Erase iCloud Data.
- Delete the 1Password.agilekeychain and/or 1Password.opvault file(s) from Dropbox
- Uninstall & reinstall 1Password for iOS, signing into your 1Password.com account once installed
I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
Ben
